Description
Game Name?
Gecko OS
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
Real Wiimote does not work with GeckoOS, and trying to launch a game causes an infinite "Setting up drive" message.
What did you expect to happen instead?
The Wiimote to works, and the game to launch.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Since the Real Wiimote error should be obvious, here's how to reproduce the setting up drive error.
- Set a game as a default ISO, launch GeckoOS, and select "launch game"
- Wait at the "Setting up drive message"
- Die of old age (optional)
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-5952
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Not that I know of.
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Core i7-4810MQ, GTX880m, 16gb DDR3 RAM, Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Do you need to hit Alt F5 to reconnect the Wiimote after booting Gecko OS?
Updated by jschulma over 9 years ago
No, the remote is already connected and using alt-f5 to reconnect does nothing. The remote is connected, but Gecko won't respond to it.

- Status changed from New to Accepted
Emulated Wii Remotes don't work in Gecko OS for me, but Real Wii Remotes do, especially in Passthrough. I'm guessing there are still issues.
