The game to create a save file?
What steps will reproduce the problem?

This is likely a multi-boot game that disconnects the Wiimote at boot. Try hitting Alt F5 to reconnect a Wiimote if the game disconnects it. Also 6406??? I'm pretty sure that's not out yet.

Sorry, 6046, not 6406, typed too fast. D:
So reconnecting it sorta helps: I can create a save, but then I can't select anything on the main menu, and reconnects don't help there. Plus there's still the graphics corruption.

Are you certain it doesn't require the IR sensor for the main menu?

...I. Am. Stupid.
OK, at the very least there's still the graphics issues.
