Description

Game Name? Super Monkey Ball

Game ID? GMBP8P

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
The game crashes at the intro.

What did you expect to happen instead?
The game should make it past the intro, and get into the menu.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Launch "Super Monkey Ball" PAL
  2. Wait until after the "Created by AV" screen fades out.
  3. Enjoy a frozen screen.

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
Dolphin 4.0-6554, i've used various other builds over 1-2 years.

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Of all the dolphin versions i've tried, it has not worked. However, like the NTSC version, it may have stopped working somewhere before 3.0-750

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
CPU: i7-4790k OC at 4.5GHz
OS: Windows 8.1
GPU: Gtx 970

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
Log: http://pastie.org/10229086
I've tried with dual core off, and idle skipping off, and other such settings that have been suggested, and i have yet to get it to run.
On the dolphin wiki page, it mentions that the crashing has been fixed. I've tested the NTSC version and this is true, it works fine without changing any settings, but the PAL version just freezes no matter what.

Are you certain that you have a good dump of the game? Can you right click it in the gamelist, click properties, go to the info tab, and compute MD5? Then paste it here.

Does not match any known good dump. Please redump your game, and if the issue persists, we'll reopen the issue. Thanks!
