Description

Game Name?
the legend of zelda wind waker ( but i don't guess its important to the issue )

Game ID?
GZLE01

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
it seems if i use ( Alt+Enter ) to enter fullscreen i can't exit it by (Alt+enter)
the only way is to ( Ctrl+Alt+Del ) and open task manager but that freezes the game

What did you expect to happen instead?
exit fullscreen mode with ( Alt+Enter )

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]
1.open the game
2.press ( ALT+ENTER ) to go into fullscreen mode
3.press ( ALT+ENTER ) again to exit Fullscreen mode

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
4.0-6765

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Windows 8.1 Pro
Inter Core i5-4460 3.2 GHz
8 GB of RAM
nVIDIA GeForce GT 740

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
what should i provide ?

Yeah i was getting this problem, but its seems to be working with the build im using at the time of this comment which is 4.0-6743. Ill will try the build you are using and see if its working or if something broke it.

pressing alt+enter seems to be working fine for me with build 4.0-6765. One thing you can try is, if its not already cheacked, Boarderless Fullscreen and see if that works. For me, it doesnt matter if its cheked, but if the option is unchecked, going in and out of full screen is slower, but is works.

just tried it with 4.0-6820 didn't fix it
checking 'Borderless Fullscreen' doesn't fix it

It could be a problem with your Nvidia settings or a driver issue, since i have an AMD Radeon HD 6870 and its working fine for me, i cant confirm, so someone with and Nvidia Card or the same one as yours would have to test if fullscreen works.

Works fine for me, I can get out of fullscreen no problem. GTX 760

so its most likely a problem on your end. This might not be the problem, but it could be the resolution in dolphin. Try the highest resolution you can set if it is not or try another resolution to test and see if it works, but like i said, it probably is an issue with your Nvidia settings or Drivers since JMC4789 resported its working on his end with a slightly newer card than yours.

It has happened to me too, but only on OpenGL; works fine on D3D

Also, when I stop emulation (Esc -> Enter) while in Fullscreen on OpenGL the picture just stays, and when I hit Ctrl+Alt+Supr and open Task Manager Dolphin is like it closed it correctly, only showing the GUI Window
