What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
All's good till I walk into Faron Woods. Then it drops to 14-15 FPS, 28-30 VPS
What did you expect to happen instead?
Not drop like a stone?
What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.Go through tunnel leading to faron woods(perform tutorial section)
2.Enter Faron Woods
3.Profit
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0.6848
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Haven't tested it yet
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Win 7 64 bit, Q9400(2.6ghz), nVidia GTX580

Did you try the Hyrule Field Speed Hack?

I actually just turned that on since I figured out how to find the info section. it seems to have made it better by 10FPS so I could get through it. Didn't realize I had to actually turn it on, my apologies

Also considering it was the Hyrule Field one I didn't think it would be applicatble to Faron Woods >_<

It has to do with the minimap in those two areas being extremely intensive. Hyrule Field is just the area that it is known for more often.
