0%
Description
Game Name? Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Game ID? G8ME01
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
In the Rogueport sewer when you hit the blue switch to reveal the stairs down toward the Thousand Year Door for the first time, Dolphin doesn't properly show the peeling effect of the door, and then freezes. The wall goes from plain wall to a wall with stairs instantly after a delay and the screen freezes.
What did you expect to happen instead?
The wall should peel away to reveal stairs and the game shouldn't freeze.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Go to the Rogueport sewer for the first time, to go to the TYD.
- After fighting through a few enemies you have to hit a blue switch.
- The issue appears here.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-7318
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Will try.
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)

Try using single core, make sure Hardware bounding box is enabled.

When you say single core, do you mean to set the affinity in Task Manager?

Fixed. Not sure what did it, but I also had to change from OpenGL to Direct3D.

Single core means disabling Dual Core Mode, just so you know.
