Dolphin crashes (Dolphin.exe has stopped working...)
What did you expect to happen instead?
Dolphin should stop the emulation as normal
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- make sure you have "OpenGL" as the renderer in the Graphics menu
- add "[Core] GFXBackend = D3D" to the game's .ini config
- start any game
- press ESC and stop emulation, Dolphin should crash
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-7320
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which

(to clarify you should be starting the same game as the .ini config file you edited but that's fairly obvious)

Has this been fixed now? The new config system was merged in 5.0-4171.

Seems fixed to me. Could not reproduce on version 5.0-5817.
