Description

Game Name?

Anything that renders in dolphin

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
If you don't have frameskip on 0 and you have virtual xfb on many objects flicker.

What did you expect to happen instead?
For the game to not flicker.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]

  1. Make sure you aren't prone to seizures 2.load a game 3.turn virtual xfb on and frameskip
  2. ???

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0.7409

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Hopefully will test soon

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Windows 10, Intel hd graphics 4000

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,

I tried 4.0-6385, 4.0-3053, and 4.0.826 and just for fun 3.5 and it's broken in all of those.

Frameskip is not really a recommended option (normally you are CPU bound rather than GPU bound), but it should work with virtual xfb.

Though perhaps we should remove it, as it complicates the code and introduces many edge cases.

We should just remove frameskip. Please, issues like these are exactly why. We have emulated CPU clock shenanigans that work better and are more compatible.

I think we removed frameskip. Cool.
