Emulator Issues #8948
closedGecko Code Not Appearing!
0%
Description
Game Name?
Mario Kart WIi
Game ID?
RMCE01
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
When Editing Config in Gecko Codes, and I remove a code and/or add one, when I save Nothing happens. All codes are back to normal again!
What did you expect to happen instead?
My code should appear and The code that I deleted should be gone.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open Game Properties
- Go to the Gecko Codes tab
- Click Edit Config
- Delete a code
- Save and Close
- The Code is still there! And when you reopen the file the code is back!!
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Sorry, I'm not sure
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.2, Mac Book Pro, Intel HD Graphics, Intel Core i5 (Sorry I don't really know much about specs)
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
No, Sorry
What is Regression?

I said newest development build, not newest stable release. The newest development version is currently 4.0-7729. There seems to be something weird with the Mac buildbot right now though, so you can test 4.0-7719 instead. https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
When you have tested on a development build, post the exact version number and your results here.

You can test 4.0-7719, which is available for Mac: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/3e4b62797c632690bd3c8037dbce7bde1dae96c4/
The newest builds should hopefully become available for Mac soon.
