Description

Game Name?

Mario Golf Toadstool Tour

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab)

GFTE01

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab, MD5 Hash: Compute)

[Put MD5 Hash here]

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

I can run the game flawlessly in local play on my own machine but as soon as I start netplay the game will not start. I cannot even run the game when I am not connected to someone when I start it with netplay. I have tried both 5.0-rc-33 and 4.0-7463. When starting the game in netplay it will pause and have a black screen except for the video info display on the top left of the screen. I am able to play the rest of my library (as far as I can tell) via netplay.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Attempting to play in Mario Golf Toadstool Tour with netplay.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

5.0-rc-33 and 4.0-7463

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Processor: Intel(R) Core i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.500Ghz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M
RAM: 16GB

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Nope, it just won't run in netplay! I've tried using various ISOs.

Use single core; dualcore netplay is not guaranteed to work in all titles.

Update/SOLVED: use single core as opposed to dualcore. I just ran into the same problem and tracked this thread (from 5 years ago...) and remembered my solution. Thought I would post it! Stupid me!
