What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

I have the Xbox 360 wireless controller connected to my Nvidia Shield TV. It works flawlessly in all menus and games but not in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. I can assign the buttons just fine in Settings - Gamecube Controller Bindings but the buttons won't work in the game.
The controller will be able to open the Dolphin overlay menu on the left side (where I can exit the game etc), but no button press gets forwarded to the game

Everything works fine with the Nvidia Shield Controller, so only the Xbox 360 Controller is affected.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

• Connect Xbox 360 Wirless Controller
• Open Dolphin, setup button bindings
• Open Game, unable to pass Start screen (as the button presses don't get recognized)

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
