Description

Lately, I've been noticing that whenever I configure the Wiimote and run a Wii game that requires it in 4.0-8558, none of the buttons on my Nvidia Shield controller work at all. Before 4.0-8558 was built, I was able to bind the Wiimote and was able to play Wii games without any issues regarding buttons, but in 4.0-8558 and after, no matter how many times I run a Wii game, the buttons simply don't work. This issue doesn't apply to Gamecube controllers, though, as I can use them without any trouble when running Gamecube games and any Wii game that uses the Gamecube controller. I would assume that because both the Gamecube controller and the Wiimote are merged into one controller bind, the emulator doesn't locate the Wiimote bind and instead ignores any Wiimote inputs rather than looking into it.

I should have been more specific with the title of this issue. I could have written "Wiimote Binding Not Working (Android)" for the title instead of "Wii Remote Controllers Not Working (Android)".

I figured out what was causing the Wiimote binding issue, and sadly, it was my own fault [:-P]. I didn't realize that WiimoteNew.ini has changed the button configuration in 4.0-8558, and when I replaced the WiimoteNew.ini with the one from the earlier builds, the buttons for Wiimote weren't working when playing Wii games that require them.

Could anyone get rid of this issue thread now that I figured out what was causing the Wiimote binding to not work?
