What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
In missions with cranes, the "shadow" for the crane doesn't show up in the Direct3D backend. This can make it a little hard to grab things with it. Store EFB Copies to Texture Only doesn't affect it, and I tested in 1x resolution with no enhancements. Switching to OpenGL fixes the problem.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Load up the provided save and go into Episode IV, Chapter 1.
- Progress through the level until the room after meeting R2-D2.
- Jump in the crane and move it around a little bit. The "shadow" showing where it is doesn't show up in Direct3D.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
Tested on 4.0-8860 and 4.0-7830. Neither version worked.
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
Windows 10 Pro x64
Intel Core i5 CPU M 540 @ 2.53 GHz
Nvidia 5100M
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
I uploaded a savestate showing the issue here, and screenshots are attached. The software renderer seems to match OpenGL. I don't think it's relevant, but I always had progressive scan enabled.

Confirmed. Probably depth shenanigans. Adding to FIFOCI.

Fixed in 5.0-5417 -> http://dolp.in/pr6026
It is related to logic op support. (Actually kind of working since 5.0-5404)
