Description

Game Name?

Ultimate Codes by Datel - GHNE5d

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Text looks wrong in Dolphin. It has lines in the wrong places it seems.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Load the disc; which requires dualcore.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

It's never worked. Tested in 4.0-8892 most recently. Most builds cannot load these games.

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Core i5 3570K, GTX 760, Windows 10

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Software Renderer does not fix this.

Did you have AF/Force Texture Filtering on, by any chance?

Some of my notes, including a patch that fixes it in dolphin: https://gist.github.com/Pokechu22/f3c104368833ba3d6662ad7d27efb19b (and it very much looks like a game bug when compared with ultimate codes zelda, but the hardware screenshot doesn't have it, and I don't have an explanation for that).

  • Status changed from New to Working as intended

Extrems confirmed that this is how the game renders on real hardware: https://files.extremscorner.org/gamecube/screenshots/UCAnimalCrossing.png (Presumably, the signal quality in JMC's image was low enough that it blurred together and the issue wasn't visible?)
