Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.start re0(usa) with the new audio hack
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
not sure how correct the audio should sound now but, it sounds exactly the
same to me. the music is still botched up.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r3194, vista home premium x64

Please provide any additional information below.
started the game but, sound functionality seems to be the same as previous
builds music is choppy and misses sequences. sound effects are pretty
normal and videos play sound correct. don't know if this is just an issue
with a 64bit system. oh on another note lle sound processing of this game
does seem to work, although sound is very scratchy turn your volume down
unless you wanna kill your ears.

Hmmm try the latest revision and make sure the fix is turned on in the HLE plugin
settings.

just tried out r3195 still no luck. seems to offer no improvement. ive tried single
and dual core modes as well just to see if it was buggy in dual core mode no
difference between them here. guess it may just not work on 64bit vista.

Hmm i don't have RE0 to test this on :(
So i can't test it out more in depth.

i've got to go to work but ill test r3200 in about 9 hours thanks for continuing work
on it.

r3200 progress. ah i do hear improvement now. there are no random pops during music
and the new game sound does not produce that strange echo anymore. the music is still
missing notes but does sound a lot better than it used too. i noticed the missing
music notes in the first save room and when the zombies first appear on screen, when
i compare it to playing on my wii.

Hey deathdroid, DSP-HLE plugin so strange.

Please listen.

Now that is very very odd.
The patch shouldn't of broken anything.

Hmm I'll have to try and work this out.
Tho i don't have RE0 so i have to rely on peoples feed back.

This is tales of symphonia (tos) sound. It isn't RE0.
Tried enable and disable re fix. It same.

r3233 music is still missing notes but, you have made great progress especially since
you don't even have the game to test your work.

I'm not sure if there is a real way to fix the missing notes.
I'll have to look into it if there is anymore reports of that!

Actions #13

well they may not be missing, maybe some of the notes have individual volumes and
they are very low or an over lapping music stream maybe even multiple and the volumes
are different. the music plays smooth as if they were there you just cant here some
of them.

Ah ok but the hack has made an improvement right?
If it has I'll close this issue and you can make another one or the missing notes as
they sound as if there different problems!

The missing notes is common issue and moreover happens randomly not only in RE0, but
in RE1 and many other games. The audio in dolphin definitely needs improvement, of
course not as a part of the current fix for re0 that death2droid made.
