Description

Game Name
Just Dance 3 Target Edition
(Probably other JD games too.)

Game ID
SJDZ41

MD5 Hash
16492490673ed49904ad13f810c62718

What's the problem?
From Build 8990 to Build 9111, game works as expected.

Starting in Build 9113, the video on the Ubisoft logo and dancer video is corrupted. Instead of one logo in the middle of the screen, there are four logos spaced out from left to right, squished horizontally and corrupted into weird blocks.

See http://imgur.com/BXSeJ2b or attached image

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open game
  2. Watch logo look weird
  3. Try any song
  4. Watch dancers look weird

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

8990 works
9012 works
9017 works
9100 works
9102 works
9103 works
9107 works
9109 works
9111 works
9113 fails
9177 fails

What are your PC specifications?

MacBook Pro 15" from 2015, with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 running fully current El Capitan. If it helps to note, I seem to be able to run just about anything at native resolution with some games able to be upscaled.

Please get a 3 frame fifolog of the bug using Dolphin's fifoplayer option.

I tested this on OSX with an NVIDIA card yesterday, and did not receive the same buggy video display. So it seems to be an AMD only issue on OSX.

Here is my fifolog. It did pop up with a cryptic error message when I tried to record so hopefully this is what you need. Let me know if I need to do something different. I do want to be helpful but please be aware I am computer literate but not a programmer. This is from version 9215, the current download as of April 13, 2016, which continues to have the issue as described above on my machine.

That fifo diff crashes for me when I try to play it back in Windows. Does it play back properly for you?

pauldachz on IRC has successfully reproduced this on his Mid-2010 iMac with OSX 10.11.3, AMD Radeon HD 4670.

Can you test the build from this pr:
https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/3784

This should be the correct download for Mac OS:
https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/pr-3784-dolphin-latest.dmg

The dmg files are the Mac OS builds, right?
