Dolphin shows 2 shadows for the character in some places. On a real Wii, it only shows the shadow on the floor in all 3 places. Dolphin shows an additional shadow on walls for the described 3 situations.
This might be a depth issue, but switching fast and slow depth doesn't change anything here.
[Reproduction steps here]
At the start of a new game, go back, break the wall, and walk near the wall on the right, while looking outside.
Load the included savegame, walk up the 1st few steps of the stairs and get to the space between the left and right stairs.
Load the included savegame, go up the right stairs, walk through the room, to the next stairs. Get close to the wall while moving around the stairs, while making the camera look up and to the wall.

(Ignore the red spot on the balcony screenshot and fifo log, it's just random burning ash or something, there's lots of it floating around)

I can confirm that this issue is fixed to 99% now.
Dolphin 5.0-478 still has the double shadows in all 3 scenes, with Opengl and D3D.
Dolphin 5.0-492 has properly working shadows for all 3 scenes with Opengl, while D3D is completely broken.
Dolphin 5.0-500 has properly working shadows for all 3 scenes with D3D as well.
Why 99%? There's still a line of a 2nd shadow in the balcony scene on an edge. Sorry, too lazy to check if it happens on console too.
