What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
If an empty port of the Wii-U adapter is mapped to a controller port, Melee hangs before showing absolutely anything on the screen (not even black) until a controller is plugged in.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Plug Wii U adapter in
- Configure dolphin to use the adapter for one or more ports.
- At least one of those ports must not have a controller plugged into the adapter.
- Start Melee
- Nothingness
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
