Description

This happens in all Wii games that I have available (Skyward Sword, Mario Galaxy 1/2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Kirby's Epic Yarn, etc.)

Whenever I launch a Wii game in Dolphin, the message "Wiimote 1 disconnected by emulated software" appears. Whenever I press a button on the Wiimote it reconnects only to be immediately disconnected again, rendering all Wii games unplayable. I am using an official Nintendo wiimote, and the standrad Windows 10 bluetooth stack.

I'm using Dolphin 4.0-9267, will test further on later/earlier versions as I believe this was introduced by a recent update.

I am using a generic, no-brand bluetooth dongle.

Loops like these mean that your Wiimote is probably not connected.

I'll check on this in the afternoon.

  • Status changed from New to Questionable

This sounds like a broken SYSCONF. Have you tried deleting it and using the latest development version?
