What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Game crashing when I try to complete the 5th part of the Pink Pearl Ring quest.
I went to Sybak and talked to Joshua, talked to Rosa in Altamira, talked to Joshua in Sybak again, talked to Rosa in Meltokio, and am attempting to talk to Joshua again in Sybak.
The game crashes with the following warnings:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
See description above. I'm not certain that this will repro (in fact, I haven't seen this reported before, so I'm not sure what I did to cause this.)
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
5.0-321

Also, I compiled Dolphin 5.0-321 from source. If it turns out to be hard to repro, it may have to do with my system libraries...

This kind of ingame crash is unlikely to come from system libraries. Reproducing would be interesting, often these crashes happen to be systemic issues we don't know about.

I can reproduce the crash. I tried just about every setting I could to try and work around it. MMU emulation enabled, Interpreter, LLE audio, loading from bios, fast-disc-speed, changing the emulated CPU Clock, etc.
I also tried PR1882 (Memchecks) and 3701 (accurate loadtimes) and neither of them helped either. I got nothing else I can try.

I checked your savefile on console. Unfortunately, my GameCube ALSO crashes when trying to do the quest, meaning that Dolphin is doing everything correct. You've managed to find a game bug, congratulations!

... oh. :( That... sucks. Thanks for testing it out!

Yeah. I don't know what to say. Maybe use a cheatcode that gives you the item. Something mucked up your save at some point...

Haha, I don't think there's an item I get out of it, just quest completion. Too bad :(

Well. I don't know. I posted a video showing the crash because why not, and other people have said to run into this purely on console. So, this is just likely not a Dolphin problem.

Oh, I googled around and wasn't able to find anyone else running into this? I guess my google-fu was too weak. Also, can you link the video / attach it to this issue?
