GUI Thread locks up, button inputs no longer work when you frame advance and savestate with the TAS Input window up

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

The GUI window including TAS Input locks up and becomes unresponsive for a while (circle cursor on Windows). During this time (~5-10 seconds) button inputs made with a XInput controller no longer show any reaction in the game, stick inputs do however. Sometimes the GUI thread deadlocks entirely and never recovers, requiring a restart to play properly again

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Start Game
Open TAS Input Window
Frame advance once (render window has the focus) via frame advance hotkey
Save a state
Unpause via hotkey
Almost every time the GUI window is now locked up for a while and button inputs no longer show a reaction. Sometimes you need to click (or try to move) the window in order to initiate the 5-10 second period before it becomes responsive again

Start Game
Open TAS Input Window
Tap "Disable Emulation Speed Limit" Hotkey once
The GUI thread now immediately locks up and never recovers, requiring a restart of Dolphin

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

Doesn't work on 5.0-1223 (dual core disabled, D3D 11)

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
