Description

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Having an emulated Wii Remote configuration window open will make Dolphin use a lot of CPU time for no apparent reason. It usually uses around 20% in total of my four cores when I open both the regular Wii Remote window and an extension controller window.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Open the controller config window. Choose "Emulate the Wii's Bluetooth adapter" and press Configure next to a Wii Remote that's set to Emulated Wii Remote.

For added effect, also open the extension configuration window by setting the extension to anything other than None and pressing the Configure button for it.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

5.0-1288 (newest) and 5.0-939 (HiDPI PR) both have the problem. 5.0-922 (the version before the HiDPI PR) uses much less CPU time.

5.0-939: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/b8731eb8180d76b4663eaf4188f985b9c5fa6fb2/

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Windows 7, not using HiDPI
Intel Core i5-3230M 2.60 GHz
Nvidia NVS 5400M
8 GiB RAM

Does this happen in the Qt frontend?
