What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

In Linux you cannot exit the dolphin-emu application without having to kill it. For example, choosing File->Quit from the UI just results in the window becoming non-responsive forcing me to eventually kill it. Hot key exits result in the same behavior, whether in a game or not at the time. Same thing happens from dolphin-emu-nogui with hotkey exits.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

On Linux, attempt to exit dolphin-emu by File->Quit or via hotkey

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

The issue occurs on master as of the time of this bug filing. From experimentation I believe the bug was introduced in commit 3e69d06 as exiting works correctly in commits prior to that one.
