is the iso in some crazy location outside of your users folder?

it's not supposed to be in your users folder. It can be but it doesn't have to

try renaming the iso to test.iso
and try it on your desktop as well as the c drive
if this works, update the issue to include any special characters used in your iso
name

I currently have it at the root of my C drive.

Also the problem seems to only exist for Wii games, SSBM loaded fine.

lpfaint99: I've renamed both of the games I backed up to multiple things, put them
in different places, they work if I mount them to a drive, they work by loading the
ISOs in older revs of dolphin, GCM loading works fine though

Are you using File > Open? try adding the C drive to your game list, are you able to
view the game in the list? can you doubleclick the game in the list to load the iso?

Yes i'm going by File > open, the game list won't recognize the games. I'm switching
compilers to vs2008 and seeing if may fix anything, I was using 2010 before.

Can't we just use wxDirectory class in WX?

Update, I compiled with VS2008, I was using 2010 when I encountered the error, and
now it's apparently gone? Weird compatibility issue with 2010 maybe?
