This happens independent of game. Tested primarily with Gamecube games.

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

My configuration is set to use gamecube adapter by default for all gamecube controllers. Changing to use an emulated controller via commandline with --config=Dolphin.Core.SIDevice0=6 has no effect, player 1 controller is still using the gamecube adapter.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Configure player 1 to use gamecube adapter as controller
  2. try to use emulated controller with flag --config=Dolphin.Core.SIDevice0=6
  3. observe player 1 still being controlled by gamecube adapter

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

The control settings haven't been migrated over to the new config system yet, so this is expected.
