Description

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

The highest currently available resolution is 5K (in the GUI at least) and it may be a good idea to support 8K because the first consumer-suited 8K screens have already been revealed to public and will be available soon.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Improvements tab in the graphics settings window.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

5.0-8715

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

The Samsung QLED 8k displays' price is going to be from $15,000 to $20,000. That is hardly consumer suited! Due to users being... users, it is best for Dolphin to wait until 8k displays are relatively common before we add that option to the GUI. For example, we only added 4k and 5k support a couple of years ago, once adaption of those displays increased as the price went under $1000. So, we'll see in a couple of years!

For those who purchase such a display in the meantime, we support any internal resolution through INI settings.

Really? I heard, the cheapest one of those should only cost about €5000, which is about $6000. But that's still more than a thousand, though.
