Description

With the Emulator completely updated, I keep finding that the emulator loses contact with the wii remote when they time out from a game and requires a complete restart of Dolphin and / or the game for it to recognize the remote is present again. i.e. When I load Mario Party 9 on the Dolphin Emulator, and let the remote(s) time out so the game gives a message that it loses contact with the remote.. I press a button on the remote to turn it back, the light comes on showing it picked back up at the same position it was before it timed out (p1, p2, p3,p4) ... However, the emulated game doesn't recognize it came back on. I have the configuration set to continously scan for the remotes and set to use a real wiimote and they are connecting via the dolphin bar... This issue is happening with EVERY game that gets emulated and every wiimote (motion plus) controller. Currently the remotes are all connected via the dolphin bar, but i have also tried it connecting through bluetooth and it still happens 100% of the time after controller times out. On a side note, these are aftermarket wiimotes and not original nintendo brand, also there is a larger crash when using these remotes with "Enable Speaker Data" turned on.

Also found this happens with much more frequency when a nunchuck is plugged into the controller as well.
