Description

(I asked a few people on both the #dolphin-dev IRC channel and outside on other servers to see if it was appropriate to file this on the issue tracker. Apologies in advance if this isn't the right place to do so).

Currently Dolphin-Tool (and by extension Dolphin itself) will only report back the amount of erroneous blocks found inside a Wii ISO. It'd be great if it were possible to use Dolphin-Tool to specifically output a list of those bad blocks in greater detail, such as but not limited to:

1.) Block number (plus equivalent sector number if possible?)
2.) Physical address inside the encrypted or decrypted ISO (if possible?)
3.) Expected hash of the bad block vs the calculated hash as found by the tool.
4.) The file affected by the bad block(s).

To my knowledge there aren't many tools that can verify Wii ISOs by using the hash information present on the individual partitions. Not only does Dolphin-Tool do this but can also support dumps that originate from RVT-Rs, which utilize the dev key which a lot of other software doesn't support. I like that Dolphin-Tool can also be used to bulk verify ISOs as well, as its a handy tool for verifying a large archive of ISOs for preservation purposes.
