What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

with dolphin 5.0-19870 (and previous versions), emulation of gamecube games crashes on default configuration (and other configurations) whenever jit is enabled. i haven’t tried any combination of configurations, but i’ve tried many. the same happens with another game (The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess :Disc 1, Revision 0) GZ2P01 …) and most likely many more, which i haven’t tried.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

• start dolphin
• launch a gamecube game with default configuration on dolphin

so most likely, this happens on only some machines ..

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

i can’t compile the latest development version from the arch user repository because of some compilation error, so i wouldn’t be able to check.

i presume the latest stable version is the latest beta version, which is, as of now, 5.0-19870. so yes, it is.

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

i run an up-to-date arch linux with kernel 6.1.46-1-lts on a machine with an integrated graphics card. my processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570T CPU @ 2.90GHz.

the issue was already experienced by others and had been discussed on reddit.
