Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.NTSC version of RE1
2.Win XP 32-bit
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Revison R4460 shows the RE1 characters fine, but sometime after that the
charaters do not show up on-screen and only show-up as some dots. One of
the commits that has to do with the video plugin screwed things up with
both plugins.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Please provide any additional information below.

actually the problem occurred somewhere between 4480 and 4490. the problem is for
both NTSC and PAL. The problem that tommy describes is reproducible with opengl. Also
at the same time re1 doesn't work at all under dx9 plugin, althogh it did before 4480.

r4486 causes RE1 and RE0 charachters became invisible
changes in VideoCommon/Src/PixelShaderManager.cpp
under
123 case 2:
124 // 24 bits
broke it

it must be rodolfo's commits that broke it - r4485 and r4486.

DX plugin works for me, but as I said, it shows the characters as dots just as the
OGL plugin does.

I can confirm that the bug has been fixed in newer versions of Dolphin.
In r4525 from the bi-weekly releases I also encountered the same error of invisible
characters in Resident Evil Zero.
However, since I have updated to SVN 4579 characters in Resident Evil Zero are no
longer invisible in either OpenGL or DirectX9 graphics modes (however DirectX9
graphics for Dolphin has a host of other bugs :P).
You can find very updated releases of Dolphin in the official forums in the Dolphin
SVN/Development section here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.com/forum-6.html
