What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start a group match all categories except tournament, well, I have yet
    to reproduce it in tournament mode, but I only tried twice. 1 or 2
    players, havent tested 3 or 4.
  2. End the battle, either by quitting or winning or losing.
  3. Curse at your computer screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see the results of the match.

Dolphin crashes with a seemingly infinite loop of error codes

This is a recent development, but I tried changing every setting I can
remember touching, and the result is always the same.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SVN R 4460 x64
Windows 7 RC 7232
Core I7
ati 5870

Graphic settings:

General:
all disabled except Auto Scale, enhancements at minimum

Advanced:
Overlay FPS enabled
Use safe texture cache enabled
Copy EFB to system RAM
all else disabled.

Other thoughts:
Dolphin thinks I have 16 cores, dont really think it's relevant to this
issue, or worth its own thread, I think it's because my processor has
hyperthreading. Hope this info is somehow useful.
