What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Launch Mario Kart Wii (with no save or copied save)
2. Finish a race or cause a save by any means
3. Close and restart the game.

Results:
You will receive a corrupted save message. No matter what you do, you
can't get into game without overwriting the save with another one and
starting over. But once another save occurs, you back in the same boat.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4696 and Win 7.
