Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Play a game to a point you want to state save (go to step 2), or attempt
to load a state (skip step 2)
  2. Attempt to save state
  3. Get Runtime error, forcing a shutdown of Dolphin

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected behavior is normal loading and saving of states, because sometimes
you want to stop right where you are and pick up later. This crash does not
save at the point you make the save state at, forcing you to lose what you
have done since last in-game save or successful save/load state (if any).

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

This behavior has forced me to rely exclusively on the in-game save
systems(battery saves, sram saves, whatever you call it)since R4727. Since
this is random, it (may) be a few tries before I can get the runtime error
to come up in order to attach a screenshot.
