Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Save (shift+F1) or Load (F1) a state while ingame
    2.
    3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I used to save and load states normally & with no problems when I used
older revisions of Dolphin (r3200 aproximately). One day I decided to
update to the last rev. (r5046) in order to play NTSC SSBB, this function
got seriously deteriorated for me. Saving a single state takes around 3
minutes (game and everything freezes until it finishes), and loading more
than 5 minutes (I used to save/load instantly with the older revs).
Happened to me with GC & Wii titles alike. Tried changing the configuration
of Dolphin, plugins, all combinations... but nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Currently r5056. I have Windows Vista.

Please provide any additional information below.
This is such a pity since I'm reduced to only use the SD card save
system... I use this save/load state function A LOT when I play games
(mostly when I screw up things). Also because SSBB NTSC and other games I
want to play don't work in older revisions where this function worked well
for me.

  • Status changed from New to Accepted

it happens to me (and it's because of a leak while saving/loading state) >_>

Happens to me too! Only it never really loads... I've been letting it "load for several
days now, hoping that someday it will be done.
