Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start a rom with opengl as graphics plugin

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I am expecting it to atleast run on opengl, but it will just freeze my whole computer and it will go black for like 2 sec and then I will get a message of graphics drivers stopped working and got reseted.

Dolphin version with the problem? Other Dolphin version without the
problem? r5647 atm but same on every version i tried.

32-bit or 64-bit and any other build parameters? 32-bit.

OS version and versions of tools/libraries used? Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
Running at e8500 dual core with a 4870x2 and 4gb ram.

Try using FurMark to test your display card openGL function.
http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/
http://www.geeks3d.com/20100202/furmark-1-8-0-hot-like-hell-edition-available/
Make sure your display card is stable.
Also, update your display card driver.
If it still not working, try to remove 1 display card.

In any case that's a graphics driver problem and not one with Dolphin. I use the OpenGL plugin all the time.

Or this issue could become an issue for supporting ATI's new drivers, but it sounds to me like ATI just fucked up and it's their responsibility to fix it.

no its compatibility issue with them
since 10.5 drivers ati introduced 120hz refresh rate support.
that is the posibility of being a problem.
before gpu crashes it tries to set max possible refresh but it fails and crash.i do not know how dolphin works with refresh rates?
