Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Load Mario Super Star Baseball for the GC(PAL)
2.As soon as the game loads and you see Mario's hat, all you hear is this screaming/whiny sound that continues on through the game and never ends.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Using the LLE plugin this does not happen but this plugin is much slower and it has problems of its own.

Dolphin version with the problem? Other Dolphin version without the
problem? Dolphin SVN R6200/all versions

32-bit or 64-bit and any other build parameters?

Windows XP SP 3 32-bit
AMD Athlon 64 @2.4GHz
Radeon HD 3650
1GB Ram

OS version and versions of tools/libraries used?

Please provide any additional information below.

Same problem here (r6285). Grating 'white noise' that drowns out all other audio. The only way to get rid of it is to turn the sound off.

Any fix for thi yet?

I don't think anyone is specifically working no this issue. All we can do is if and when we see an HLE related commit, we can test to see if for some odd reason it got fixed by accident.

If I recall correctly, optimize quantizers was the cause of this. I forget if enabling or disabling that option was the fix here, but there is no such option anymore.

Nevermind that, not quantizers.
