Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Go to Wiimote settings and configure emulated Wiimote.
  2. Select joypad device (map out joypad settings) and right click all the IR options to map up to the mouse.

Beforehand you were able to use the mouse as the pointer alongside a standard controller, that is no longer possible. You are able to map out the IR control to a mouse but using the mouse or joypad will lock out one or the other depending on what is used first.

The revision that I noticed the problem in was revision 6285. The revision I use that does not have the issue is revision 6239.

I use 64 bit versions.

I use Windows 7 Home Premium.

I would also like this functionality back...but I would prefer having IR to the stick not be autocentered addressed first. :)

I agree wespipes, either that or have the hide feature work without having to hold a button down.

I should add, this isn't just an issue with not being able to use a mouse, but also the keyboard. Some people use the keyboard with a joypad because there aren't enough buttons on a joypad to emulate all the wiimotes functions. We should try to allow for multiple devices to be used without locking another one out.
