Emulator Issues #3607
closedScooby Doo: Unmasked errors

Description
After trying out several major revisions from 2.0 to R6501, only the newest builds can correctly run the intro of this game (G5DE78) on OpenGL exclusively.
When trying out older revisions on first load the error "WRITE: Invalid Address xxxxxxxx" appears and when trying to access the first level in the newer builds (for example R6501) the error "ERROR: Trying to compile at xxxxxxx" appears. Both examples have pictures attached.
The system used is an i7 720qm, Win7 Home Premium x64 and the game is compressed ISO (through R6501)
Thanks for everything!

Can you try to find which rev fixed the game for opengl?
If it was an opengl-only-change, we might be able to port it over to the d3d plugins as well.

After several tests I seem to have found the following:
-
In newer builds (R6506 and up) the game does not give any errors even when using panic handlers though it hangs in the same locations as before (DirectX in the intro and both at loading the first level)
-
R6505 patched with FifoBusy (http://forums.dolphin-emulator.com/showthread.php?tid=13314) actually allows the DirectX plugin to run the intro flawlessly.
-
Both versions, patched and unpatched, hang at loading the first level.
-
Still haven't found a revision that will allow the game to load the first level; I am pretty sure I am overlooking something but just don't know what it is.
-
When trying alternate RFI with the patched revision this error appears after nearly loading the first level (Scooby3.jpg)
-
When trying speed up disc transfer with the patched revision this error appears after nearly loading the first level (Scooby4.jpg)

Please test if this game works. Let me know if there are any problems.

The game seems to be working if a save game is made in the memory card and loading it from there. MMU Speed Hack must be enabled.
