R 6856 Win7 64bits French - GC controllers plugged in not saved when UI in french

Description
How to reproduce (problem may exist on other language or even when choosing French UI instead of "system language"):
- extract dolphin 7z (clean install)
- launch dolphin on a french windows
- clic on GC Pad and configure 2 GC controller and close
- clic on Config and affect "Standard Controller" on port 1 and port 2 and close
- clic again on Config, port 2 says "none". (and games won't see second controller)
Workaround :
Change Dolphin UI to English
Restart Dolphin, now the GC pad ports are saved.

what do you mean by "clean install"? And how would you do it?

clean install = unzip in new directory ;-)

what do you mean? do you mean save it to a folder on your hard drive and then unzip it?

well yes. I mean I don't overwrite a previous dolphin folder. (where there might be previous files messing up with the last build).

I see. I think i understand now. I do that too, when even i download a dolphin version I save the Zip file to my Downloads folder then unzip it :3

Hello, just to say I've had this problem too.
I've fix'd it by modifying the settings.ini, then changing it to read-only, which isn't very convenient.
I'm glad I came here :)
Any idea why the french UI would cause this ?

Is it the same with an other language?
I don't have the problem if I select Mouse/Keyboard with 2 Pads (for testing only ;) )

Hmm, that probably means a string is being translated that shouldn't be. I will look into it.
