Description

What's the problem?
Two Issues.

  1. When trying to start a new game, the FMV goes at a very slow pace
  2. The game will randomly freeze shortly after changing areas, often before this it will be playing the wrong stages background sound.

Dolphin version with the problem:
r6893

Operating system and version:
Windows 7 64 Bit

Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):
GREE08

Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?
plain dump

Please provide any additional information below.
Changing the settings seems to cut down on the likely hood of occurring, but I can not get the glitch to reoccur every time even with the default settings. The settings I did change to try and cut down on the occurrence was as follows:
Disable Dual Core
Disabled "Enable Idle Skipping"
Turn off "Skip Gamecube Bios"
Lock treads to a core
DSPLLE on thread

My Computer has an AMD Phenom II X4 925 on stock speed, 4GB of 1333Mhtz Ram, and a Nvidia 9500 GT GPU.

I have the same issue. Although it is always present for me regardless of settings. It takes around 10 to 20 mins just to play the intro, and then it freezes while reading the emails that you are forced to read. I have tried the game under the following systems.

Windows 7 Pro x64, Nvidia 9800 GTX.
Mandriva Linux x64, Nvidia 8500 GT.

Oh, for testing purposes, here is a copy of the Memory Card with a Save after the intro.

Anther issue, with the DirectX9 Plug in, Fireman's attacks do not show up. Here is a video showing how it should look:

And attached is an image of how it does look.

It does work with the OpenGL plug in. Also, the DSP-LLE Plug in seems to fix the random freezing issue, but introduces a bunch of audio glitches.

A small update, with r6947, with the new audio plug in, the game no longer seems to randomly crash but the sound often gets corrupted with the default settings, in which it will play a track from a different area or two songs at once.
