closedLinux 64-Bit: libasound -> oss (emulated)

Description
Problem:
It seems to fail loading: libasound_module_pcm_oss.so
I will take a guess at that it does not work with alsa emulation under oss (i use OSS since alsa does not play nice with my soundcard.

ALSA lib pcm.c:2171:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_oss.so

It basically shows the system-summary in that neat yellow text, but it stops at the alsa-lib problem before it has had time to fade away and start. :)

This isn't a bug in dolphin. That message that you are getting is not coming from dolphin at all. It is coming from the alsa library as the message indicates. You apparently don't have your system set up right to use oss. You should find out what package in your distribution installs the file /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_oss.so and install that package. On Ubuntu the package is libasound2-plugins if that helps.

Darn and bummer. No matter how much i learn, there is always something blatantly obvious or dumb one misses at time. this time being the alsa-lib problem.
Apparently i did no longer have alsa-lib, since i replaced it when i messed around with libsalsa and firefox-nightly. Not that this is your problem.
I am sorry - next time i will be a bit more attentive to the output. :p
