No PANIC message and simply silently only including the valid ISO's and disregarding
any other.

Well, there is no way of distinguishing between a GC/Wii ISO and just a regular one.
Maybe ignoring that fact and removing the panic alert will help...

this may be an unusual suggestion. remove iso support completely and require .gcm or
.wii extension

it tell that a non game ISO is invalid. Do you see my point?

Ignoring the Panic Message is a lazy way of solving it, creating a pre-check would be
a more general approach.

Well, the only solution that i see is just removing this PanicAlert, because there's
no other way, of course you can distinguish between a GC/Wii ISO and a regular one,
but only once it's been checked on startup, and that's how it is already
so per haps just comment out this panic alert ?
