Description

  1. Before selecting game.

  2. The GUI should use very little CPU.

  3. Not sure if it is always like this. Is it looking for Wiimotes?

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open dolphin-emu.
  2. Open system monitor.
  3. See CPU hogged by dolphin-emu GUI.
  4. Close takes two clicks of the exit (X).
  1. 64-bit Ubuntu 11.10 linux, 3.2GHz processor, Geforce GTX 560 TI

What version? Did you compile it yourself?

3.0-291

Can you compile the latest svn version and see if it is the same ?

Still 94% CPU at idle. See attached picture.

As above: have you tried this on a newer version, did you compile yourself?
Also, what version of wx is that?

Just cloned 3.0-508 this morning. Idle processor usage is still greater than 90% with idle GUI open. It may be unrelated, however, it always takes 2 clicks on the exit (X) to close this GUI.

I do not experience this. (nor does any other dev afaik)

Unless you can determine which part of the code is using 90% CPU or something, this will probably not be fixed.

Again, I cannot reproduce it.

Will re-open if told which revision introduced the issue or some other useful information.
