Emulator Issues #5211
closed.dtm isn't saved when loading a save state while recording
0%
Description
- Game Name and ID (as it appears in right click > properties: "GZ2P01",
"RSBE01", etc):
any
2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a .dtm to be saved when loading a save state, along with the current state. Instead, a .dtm is not saved.
3) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on an
earlier version of dolphin? Please specify the exact revision when the
problem began.
No.
4) What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Start recording
- save a state
- load a state
5) What version of dolphin are you using (32bit/64bit along with the
version as it appears in the title bar, etc)?
On what operating system, drivers, and hardware? Be sure to list OS,
graphics driver information, and video card model if you are having
graphics problems, for example.
Doesn't matter.
6) Please provide any additional information below.
A save state is made when loading a save state, to allow for undoing a load state, in case a save state is accidentally loaded. However, while recording, a .dtm is not saved, so all input after the save state that was accidentally loaded is lost upon undoing the load state.

nitsuja, is the more-save-fixes branch ready to be merged into master? If so, please merge it.
Also, misc-speedups branch looks fine to merge.

Sorry, been out for a while, hopefully I can merge these into master sometime in the next week or so.
