Description

[The following is a template to help you fill out a more informative
report]

Note:
Many games do not run yet, or have known problems. Please do not report
those games without giving any more information. That means reports like
"Game XYZ crashes" are not helpful. Instead try to include as much debug
information as possible. Also try to search the issue tracker for similar
bugs before creating a new issue.

--------------------------------------

  1. Game Name and ID (as it appears in right click > properties: "GZ2P01",
    "RSBE01", etc):
METAL GEAR SOLID THE TWIN SNAKES
    GGSEA4

2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Speed was fine. Now (and since 3.0-199) the game slows down tremendously during some codec calls, cut-scenes, and crawling through air ducts

3) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on an
earlier version of dolphin? Please specify the exact revision when the
problem began.
3.0 - 3.0-198 worked fine. 3.0-199 introduced a major slowdown that has never been fixed even in the latest rev (3.0-750 as a write this).

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Watch intro cut-scene (before "press start") and notice the major slowdown when Snake is in the drone using the night vision (or whatever) goggles;
  2. Crawling through air ducts;
  3. Listening to codec calls on the cargo duct, heliport, and air ducts

5) What version of dolphin are you using (32bit/64bit along with the
version as it appears in the title bar, etc)? Do not say 'latest version'
this changes multiple times a day.
On what operating system, drivers, and hardware? Be sure to list OS,
graphics driver information, and video card model if you are having
graphics problems, for example.
3.0-x64 and 3.0-750-x64
Current System: Laptop (Acer Aspire V3-771G-9875)
OS: Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3GHz (Turbo Boost Technology up to 3.3GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 2GB
RAM: 6GB

6) Please provide any additional information below.
Fwiw, this is the description of the rev (3.0-199) that introduced the regression: Made the JIT bypass the icache when it is executing the external interrupt exception handler. Fixed by comwiz.k

7) Attachments. IMPORTANT! We have a limited storage quota on
GoogleCode, so please use a 3rd party host for screenshots or any other
files (http://min.us/ for example).
None, unless needed.

not sure about this one, 2500k still runs it full speed with LLE. I recall checking vbeam hack made it run slow-mo.

I get full speed for the most part on my current system but not everyone has a very good processor. My last rig (Pentium G620 @ 2.6 GB + HD Family iGPU) could play this game full speed for 90% of the areas on Dolphin 3.0 but then I noticed a huge speed hit in later revs. With and without vbeam as well even though it greatly increases the speed in this game.

I thought Vbeam was accurate and not a hack?
