Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Starting up the game and creating a new file and watching the intro
    cutscene.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It's supposed to load Link's sprite, Zelda's sprite, the maidens' sprites,
and the whole background.

I only see the rain graphics and the light/lightning coming from the
windows as well as the text boxes. Although, for some reason, it loads
Vaati's sprite as well as his whirlwind animation thing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SVN 2390 and Windows Vista

Please provide any additional information below.

Intel Pentium Dual Core 2 GHz
2 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 2400
32-bit Vista

Well, at least the game is running faster than before, which was 1-3 FPS.
Now, it runs at about 18-30 FPS, so, good job, you guys. Hopefully, this is
just a problem with my configuration of things. But if it isn't, I hope you
guys can fix it, this was a great game and I'd really like to play it again. :)

Probably try either of the Projection hacks. That helped on Harvest Moon aswell after
r2163.

I wrote this before getting through the whole intro, so I've got a little more
information.

I got in-game and it still doesn't load Link's sprite, although Kaepora Gaebora', the
owl, sprite loaded, but when he landed on the post, it disappeared. It loads some
effects, like when Link cuts grass and moves a heavy object with the help of other
Link's. It seems to be a layer problem, but I'm no expert at this at all, so I could
be wrong.

Try the two projection hacks (one at a time) in the configuration window. It is well
known to work in this game.

Okay, I put on the R945 hack and it brought back the graphics and such and it was
still at semi-full speed, hooray. The only problem that's still there is that some
sprites are incorrect. Like for Link, it replaced his sprite with Dark Link's for all
four Link's, although this isn't a problem until you get to the colored tiles that
requires a certain Link's color, but you can just remember the order they're in being
Green, Red, Blue, and then Purple. It also doesn't show the water, which could be a
problem at some point in the game, I don't really know. The maidens in the opening
are all the same color, being yellow, but the light they make are the right color,
but it's still hilarious.

Thanks, for helping guys.

I tried Hack R844 doesn't show anything, just plays the sound. Just saying if you
tell me to try the R844 hack.
