What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
The game plays fine overall and the sound effects and music sound great, but the characters' voices start out sounding normal, then fall into extremely slow motion. Sometimes if you reboot and/or change the settings, the voices will go too fast, then normal, then slow down again. I've tried as many different config options as I can think of but have had no luck in fixing this. (copied from someone else who had the same issue posted elsewhere)
What did you expect to happen instead?
Speech should sound normal, especially since the rest of the audio is fine. I thought it was a bad copy of the game but I've used two separate versions and the same problem is happening.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]
- Run the game in Dolphin.
- Skip past the intro and do the short training exercise - sometimes it starts there, sometimes not until the first level begins, where you hop up the steps and another character says a few lines about the barrier.
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
Versions 3.5 and 4.0.2.
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Not in this case. Identical problem on both versions.
