What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
Corrupted textures.

What did you expect to happen instead?
the graphics to work properly.

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-2005

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
The last version I played on was 4.0-1711, and it worked fine there.

Note that this issue is not present on the Direct3D backend. (The Direct3D backend has it's own issues with this game, like white lines over all the menus, but it does not have the graphical corruption).

It's because you've disabled EFB Copies in your graphics settings. Please turn on EFB2Texture or Ram, and see if the issue is still valid. If it is, find the exact revision it started happening.

Turning EFB2Textures on partially fixed it..it's not corrupted as badly, but NPCs still vanish. I'll check what revision that started on...

OK, upon further examination, it seems the "NPCs/Shadows disappear as you move" issue has always been there and I just never noticed it before. The texture corruption was fixed by enabling EFB copies, which I didn't notice I'd disabled. ^^;

This is invalid. The people disappearing is caused by the widescreen hack being on. Turn it off and that won't happen.
