0%
Description
Game Name?
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Game ID?
GZLE01
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
When I try to record a movie with TAS Input on, it will sometimes randomly crash.
What did you expect to happen instead?
That Dolphin didn't crash and I'd just be able to TAS with TAS Input.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Start recording a movie
- Start TASinput
- (I don't know if this is what causes the problem, but I recorded some keyboard inputs with TAS Input open)
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
Dolphin 4.0-3587
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
I didn't test.
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
OS X 10.9.2 (13C64)
2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256 MB
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Can you test again with the latest development build (4.0-4803)?

I'm marking this as questionable since I'm unable to reproduce. However this may be a Mac OS X issue so I hope another Mac OS X user can test this to confirm.

Hmm, I'll let you know if it works in 4.0-4803.

I ran into this three times in a row just by moving the control stick around on my gamepad with the TAS input window open.

Not quite sure why this bug only affects OS X, since it appears to be threading issues where multiple threads try to access the same objects, causing lifetime issues. Regardless, I've attempted to fix it in a PR: https://dolp.in/pr2490
