Description

Hello,

I'm using 4.0-5841 in Linux, and wanted to know what does CPU Clock Override do? Is this performing a software overclock on the CPU, also is this safe to use?

Also I don't understand what the 100% means? I see it showing 486mhz and at 400% it shows 1944mhz...

thank you

This issue tracker isn't for user support. Questions like these can be asked at https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/

But if you want to know, it sets how fast the emulated CPU will run. 486 MHz is the speed a real GameCube runs at, so that's why it says 100%. The only bad thing this option can do is to make emulated software crash or behave oddly. It doesn't affect your actual CPU, except for making it do less or more work.

I appreciate being able to ask a question here, and thank you for your reply...

My bad, I wanted to know actually for Wii support about this overclock, does it support Wii gaming too?

thank you
